Meet Our Team
President James M. Burt was an avid sailor that has turned his passion of boating into a business. In 1980 Jim started Great Lakes Marine Services to service the needs of the boating community. Throughout the years Great Lakes has grown and has two locations. Our main facility is off of I-43 in Grafton which is where our service and sales departments centered. GLMS also has ten slips in the Port Washington Marina for showing and sea trials of our new and used boats. In addition to our I-43 facility we have three new state of the art buildings north of Port Washington with three more approved to go up soon on our 10 acre site.
